I've been trying. I've been studying for college entrance exams. I just keep getting bad news and it drags me down again.

Life's like a cycle. You go through a period of being miserable and then you go back to being happy again. That's the way it works, because we cannot appreciate the good things in life without the bad to show us how lucky we are. Things will get better, you'll see. Just give it time. I promise it'll work out.

You're not bringing anyone down, except yourself. You're just fine. You don't need to apologize for anything. Take your time getting back to happiness again, but just keep in mind that things will get better :)
